OAPN IMPACT Award

NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2022 OAPN IMPACT AWARD
Deadline to Nominate: Friday, August 19

The OAPN Board of Directors is calling for nominations for the 2022 OAPN IMPACT Award. This award will honor an OAPN Member’s impact within their community. This could be a singular member, an organization, or even a partnership.

The touring arts industry in Ohio is resilient, creative, and essential to the well-being of Ohioans. The OAPN IMPACT Award was created in 2021 to recognize the enduring creativity of our industry and celebrate the impactful work each person, organization, and community has done to keep the performing arts in the lives of Ohioans.

How to nominate:

Part I: The nomination must focus on a nominee’s impact on their community, their organization, and/or the touring arts industry in Ohio. Nominations should include details on engaging their community, new and innovative practices used/discovered, and any unique pivots taken during the pandemic. All of our communities in Ohio are different, so no member should think the work they did during this challenging time is too small or limited in scope to be considered worthy of recognition. *Both the nominee and nominator must be members of OAPN in good standing to qualify. * Nominees may self-nominate.

Part II: A 1-2 minute video submission that tells the story of the nomination and the impact on the community.

Although there are no set criteria for the video submission other than length and format, the Board of Directors suggests including elements like testimonials, interviews, photos, video of activities, and any other relevant material specific to the nominee.

Each nomination will be adjudicated by a panel of OAPN members who will recommend to the Board of Directors the specific nomination that should be recognized with the award.
